Hi, I’m Nick Fox, and I’ve recently joined the parish council. I moved to Arborfield Cross about 2 years ago from Wokingham. I have served on Wokingham town council for 4 years and as the end of my tenure came around, I thought it best to volunteer for the parish council where I live. I’ve been focused on planning for some years, having sat on Wokingham town council planning committee and latterly sitting as chair of that planning committee. I hope to be able to bring my experience and knowledge to the parish council, and enable us as a community to push back on unwanted and out of character developments in the locality.
I work full time as a health and safety advisor and I find volunteering on local and parish councils to be really fulfilling. It’s take up a little of my time, around 1 or 2 evenings a month. Its available to everyone to help out on parish council and everyone brings something different and new skills to the table to solve the issues facing our community.
