Arborfield & Newland Parish comprises primarily residential, recreational and commercial premises. Our aim is to strive to make sure that the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated regulations are known and followed by all.
In order to do this we:
• Ensure that the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated regulations are known and followed by our members, employees and service providers.
• Have undertaken risk-assessments for all relevant regular parish council activity and have a system to undertake or review existing risk assessment as required.
• Respond to requests for health and safety information from the public and businesses
• Promote, where possible, educational materials and information to raise the public profile of health and safety provided by others.
